The 80PLUS is a standard used for indicating the power conversion efficiency of power supply units for computer. This standard specifies the conversion efficiency (such as 80% or higher) from AC input to DC output in power supply units that output DC voltage at multiple levels used in desktop and server computers, and it issues certification to products that have achieved certain target values.
